Stylish on the go: 90 Fun transparent case for $159.20
One of the latest creations of the Chinese suitcase and bag manufacturer 90Fun is not particularly smart, equipped with Bluetooth locks or particularly robust. Instead, the case is given a transparent design that allows you to personalise your luggage more than ever.

Weight | 2,7 kg |
Capacity | 33 l |
Conversation at Xiaomi headquarters. “A transparent suitcase… why are we financing this now?” “Because we can!” At least once there must have been this conversation. There can be no need for this suitcase, at least the potential clientele should be rather small. But ok, taste is a matter of debate.
But if you look over the transparent cover (or through it), then we have a normal suitcase in hand luggage size. A capacity of 33 litres is given. The material is polycarbonate, which according to the description comes from Bayer (although I have already been told elsewhere that Bayer does not produce plastics itself but Covestro does).
A TSA lock with a three-digit numerical code secures the zipper of the case. However, inside there are no additional compartments or several chambers, which would also somehow counteract the principle. Unfortunately, this also means that you can’t sort or secure anything separately, everything is more or less loose in one pile.
Why should you get a transparent suitcase? Well, you have to like it most of all. If you make your clothes look nice, logos and slogans are visible on the outside and you even pay attention to a mix of matching colors, it certainly looks good. The 90Fun product photos already give you some ideas, even if you seem to have different ideas about how to pack a suitcase than I do. But what do I know?
With valuables, of course, it’s another story. If you pack the expensive cognac from the Duty Free Shop or your favourite jewellery at the top while packing, you invite thieves, of course. They don’t have to open the suitcase to know what they’re getting. On the other hand, it has never been easier to find the suitcase on the baggage carousel after landing. The transparent suitcase with the five pairs of sandals and the Spongebob underwear is probably the only one on the plane.
Let’s assume that the transparent PC is just as resistant as usual and you get the same quality as with all 90Fun cases. Then it simply remains a question of taste. If you always wanted to show the contents of your wardrobe to the whole world, you can now do it at the airport.
