“Holistic health data at your feet”. This is how the manufacturer Amazfit, which is primarily known for smartwatches, advertises its Smart Scale. Smart scales are a dime a dozen, but the Amazfit version wants to score with a modern design, 16 readings and 18 sports. We tried it out.
The manufacturer finally continued the popular wearables last year with the Amazfit GTR 2 and Amazfit GTS 2, and now the third iteration follows. This generation starts with three models: Amazfit GTS 3, GTR 3 and Amazfit GTR 3 Pro. But what are the differences between the GTR 3 and GTR 3 Pro?
The manufacturer scored a coup with the first Amazfit GTS, and the visual proximity to the Apple Watch has caught on with the mainstream. So much so that smaller Chinese manufacturers have stolen the product name. Now the third generation has been presented. But isn’t the Amazfit GTS 3 even a step backwards?
Amazfit, known for its smartwatches, now offers all kinds of health-related products. Besides a scale, they also include the Amazfit PowerBuds, which now get a Pro version.
Apparently, Amazfit got the first Amazfit GTS so out of hand that they now want to make the successor as broad as possible. Besides the Amazfit GTS 2 and the Amazfit GTS 2e, the manufacturer has also released the Amazfit GTS 2 Mini. The GTS 2 Mini is not only smaller, but even does some things a bit better than its big brothers.
After the Huami Amazfit GTR the next Smartwatch of the manufacturer is already coming. The Huami Amazfit GTS Smartwatch looks suspicious after the Apple-Watch. Did they only “steal” or bring in their own ideas?
In addition to the Amazfit Bip-S and also the first own TWS headphones, Huami presented another new Smartwatch at CES: the Huami Amazfit T-Rex. This is a type of outdoor Smartwatch similar to the Casio G-Shock models.
At Huami the release rhythm has multiplied. The Amazfit Bip (2) Lite and the Amazfit Verge 2 are followed by the Huami Amazfit GTR. This GTR is especially interesting for sportsmen, after all there is even a ski mode integrated.
With the Huami Amazfit GTS, Huami achieved a spot landing last year and we can still recommend the Smartwatch unconditionally today. Now the successor seems to be waiting for us. The Huami Amazfit GTS 2 and the Amazfit GTR 2 will once again compete with Apple, but at a fraction of the price.
In addition to the Amazfit GTS 2, the manufacturer has also introduced the Huami Amazfit GTR 2. The GTR 2 also picks up on the design of its predecessor, but unlike the GTS it features longer battery life and an even more refined design.
Following the Huami Amazfit Neo, wearable manufacturer Amazfit is releasing another inexpensive Smartwatch and is expanding its popular Bip range. Judging by the first pictures, the Huami Amazfit Bip U could almost be called Amazfit GTS Lite.
Before the official announcement there were a lot of rumors and the hope that there will be a Pro version with NFC, Alexa and SpO2 sensor for blood oxygen measurement in addition to the normal Mi Band 5. At least the latter two functions are supposed to be offered by the Amazfit Band 5, for which there was now a big leak.
Shortly after the news about the renaming of the Amazfit app to Zepp, a new Smartwatch of the Amazfit brand appears. The Huami Amazfit Neo is fully committed to retro design without sacrificing any smart features.
The Amazfit app is now called Zepp and can already be found in the Google Play Store and the iOS App Store. It is not yet known whether the entire brand will be renamed in this way or whether the parent company Huami will now release Amazfit and Zepp products. However, the 1st Zepp Smartwatch is already in the starting blocks: The Zepp E comes directly in two versions!
