Ergonomic gaming desk for $160

Do you really need an extra desk just for the gaming computer? We probably won’t be able to answer this question here either. However, we’ll take a look at Aukey’s gaming desk, which might make your decision a bit easier – one way or the other.

“What is a gaming desk anyway?” some will now ask. “My computer sits on a normal desk.” To be honest, I didn’t quite understand that either. One reason is certainly lack of space. To stay with the Aukey model: The table is 120 x 60 cm and 75 cm high, whereby the height is probably also easily adjustable. The table just has room for a monitor, mouse and keyboard.

Depending on how it is assembled, it might even be easy to stow away again. Since it is made of carbon fiber, the table is both light and stable, even though Aukey does not specify an exact weight. It is supposed to be able to support a weight of up to 150 kg.

In addition, the table is of course perfectly designed for the needs of gamers. There is an opening in the table for the cables that lead to the tower, there is a holder for the headphones on the side, and a holder for a drink can optionally be attached. For even better cable management or as additional storage, there is a small tray that attaches under the table.

And last but not least, but of course most important: The optics. No gaming accessory without proper LED lighting. If the keyboard, mouse and headphones already glow in a colorful way, the table has to match as well. That’s why there are adjustable LEDs on both sides that can light up in different colors.

The interest in gaming accessories is basically there, but of course the question is how useful such a desk is in particular. Feel free to write us your opinion in the comments.

After joining the team in late 2015 I quickly fell in love with aerial photography. Today I review most of our drones. I'm also interested in gaming related gadgets.
