Automatic peeling machine for $15.32

Hey, guys! Just a heads up: The linked offer is already a bit older and the price of the gadget might have changed or it might not be available anymore.

Of course, peeling an apple or pear yourself by hand is not that complicated. But why make an effort when it can be much simpler? This fully automatic peeling machine should simplify our work in the kitchen.

Automatic peeling machine

With this little kitchen help you can peel an apple within 10 seconds. The object to be peeled may have a diameter of 2-14 cm or a height of 5-15 cm. For operation, the peeling kitchen support requires four AA batteries, which are not included. Measuring 29 x 14 x 14 cm, the 950 g light machine can also be taken on the road, for example for a picnic or cooking together in a student flat.

One small machine, many individual parts. The handling is simple.

Operating principle

During the peeling process you don’t have to touch potatoes, kiwi or the onion either, on the contrary: This is definitely not recommended, as you can cut yourself well with the sharp peeling knife. According to the description, the machine switches off only 1 mm from the surface of the object. The process is quite simple:

1. Place the object to be peeled on the holder and press lightly on it.
2. Press the upper holding device down on the object so that it remains stable.
3. Place the peeling knife on the object from above.
4. Press the power button and wait about 10 seconds.
5. Slide the fixtures back to their original position and remove the peeled object.
6. Yummy!

As already mentioned, potatoes, tomatoes and peaches can also be pealed by hand. But especially when you have to tackle larger cooking projects and peel a lot, the peeling machine is a good support, but the price is debatable. Alternatively, there is also an apple peeler that cuts spirals out of the apples (very cool!).

Experience shows how well the device works in practice. Do any of you have this or a similar peeling machine at home and can you describe your experiences?
