Baseus is actually more known for smartphone accessories and charging technology, but they also have one or two desk lamps in their range. The desk lamp with the long name “Baseus Magnetic Stepless Dimming Charging Desk Lamp Pro” is a USB C lamp for working at the desk or reading in bed.

Wireless desk lamp

The lamp is kept relatively simple with white and silver elements is made of ABS and polycarbonate. Under the milky transparent cover there are 42 LEDs with a total power of 5W. This gives the Desk Lamp a brightness of about 100 lumens and a color rendering of 80RA, which is still okay.

Typical for LED lamps, you can change brightness and color temperature between 3000 and 5000 Kelvin. A very cool feature is that there are three levels each of brightness and color temperature and the ability to change both continuously. There is no remote control, the settings can only be made via icons by touch on the lamp itself.

The Desk Lamp’s magnetic mount sticks to any surface and the light element can be attached to it and rotated 80 degrees. The light element has an 1800mAh battery that lasts just under 24 hours at low brightness and can be recharged via USB C. At full brightness, the battery is said to last for 4 hours.

The special feature of the lamp is with the magnetic mount and the battery of the lamp. With two holders can use a lamp for desk and bed. Due to the fact that the lamp also works wirelessly, it is certainly also quite convenient for the night visit to the toilet 😆

Assessment

The Baesus Desk Lamp Pro is a somewhat different desk/nightstand/bathroom mirror lighting. For just under 17 euros, you get a typical Chinese gadget with several possible applications. The only question is whether the quality is good at this price.
