CaDA Suzuki Jimny: Off-road vehicle made of 192 parts for $15.66

Hey, guys! Just a heads up: The linked offer is already a bit older and the price of the gadget might have changed or it might not be available anymore.

Someone needs to explain to me what is so special about the Suzuki Jimny. After Xiaomi, who have already released a remote-controlled version of the car in cooperation with Suzuki, the model is now also available from CaDA. This time, of course, it is a kit, which here consists of 192 individual parts.

CaDA Suzuki Jimny

Is the car so much more famous in Asia than it is over here? I’m really not a car fan or even expert, but since the second version of the same model is already sold as a toy here, the interest seems to be there, after all.

Even if you are not a fan of the Suzuki brand or maybe don’t know the car at all, you can of course buy the CaDA Suzuki Jimny version. Therefore, I still wanted to see what you can get here. Just about $15 for a set with almost 200 parts is completely okay. But of course there are not many options in the size. The car is in scale 24:1.

In terms of dimensions, it reminds me the most of the remote-controlled mini sports cars from CaDA, even if these have a good 100 parts more and are somewhat larger.

There seems to be quite a bit of sticker art for it. The radiator grille, the Jimny lettering on the license plates as well as the taillights and door handles all seem to be stickered on. If these are ( at least partially) printed parts, that would be pleasing, but I’m not assuming that this is the case.

Overall, it remains a nice set for a fairly low price (which may vary a bit depending on the store). Even if you don’t know the brand, you’ll get a nice little toy car here. If it wasn’t this model of all things, I might not have even noticed it. How do you like the car? Would this be a set you would buy, or does it not meet your taste at all? And do you know what the Suzuki Jimny is all about?

After joining the team in late 2015 I quickly fell in love with aerial photography. Today I review most of our drones. I'm also interested in gaming related gadgets.
