Divoom Pixoo Digital PixelArt Frame Title Image

The Pixoo is basically a digital picture frame, only he just mainly so-called “pixel art” there. These are small pictures in the style of old 8-bit and 16-bit video games, which form the most creative motifs possible with only a few pixels. The display here consists of 256 LEDs, so it has a resolution of 16 x 16. You can already see what such a picture looks like in the images here.

The pictures are created with the help of an app. You can use predefined pictures or create your own motifs – there are no limits to your creativity. The best thing about it is that your own artwork can be published and shared via the app. Conversely, you can of course also search for the works of other artists. This way, you definitely have enough variety if a single picture is too boring for you. The smartphone is connected to the display via Bluetooth.

We already know this feature and have tested it on the Divoom Tivoo, a speaker from the brand.

The frame weighs 816 grams and measures 20 x 2o centimeters. A LiPo battery is required for operation, but it is included with the article.

If you like pixel art, you’ll like the Divoom Pixoo, that much is clear. It is the largest display of its kind from Divoom to date and an eye-catcher for any home. If you like that kind of thing, you certainly won’t go wrong here. Only the price you have to be willing to pay, because the brand is known since everyone for being rather a bit too expensive. 49.90 € (on Amazon) are not a little money.
