DIY LED clock to assemble yourself for $6.69

Hey, guys! Just a heads up: The linked offer is already a bit older and the price of the gadget might have changed or it might not be available anymore.

After the LED cube, here comes the next DIY in the series: The DIY LED clock to assemble yourself. The friends of electronics and handicrafts among us will soon be able to delight their entire immediate surroundings with great homemade and glowing devices.

DIY LED Clock

On the 38 mm x 115 mm display area you can see the time or temperature. The clock is powered via USB cable, but apparently can also be powered via button cell. The various settings are controlled via the “Set” button. This also allows you to set an alarm clock. Therefore, the use as a night light is not very far-fetched. Have you put together your clock is also a nice acrylic glass case included, so that your work is protected and can stand on its own.

If the clock is too simple or has too few functions, there is an extended version in the DIY set. Here you can also display temperature and time, but you can also set the date and special holidays, such as Christmas or your own birthday (including “Happy Birthday” display). You can also choose the font and lighting intensity. Especially great is that you can actually use this clock with a CR1220 button cell.

Furthermore, you could use the Xiaomi Wiha srewdriver set, the Wowtation Wowpad or the silicone work pad for assembling this set šŸ™‚
