Appearance

The air compressor has an unspectacular and simple design. Currently, you can get it in the color combination black/silver. The air compressor can also be used without a cable thanks to the battery and has a size of 8.8 x 4.8 x 13.8 cm. Thus, the device is slightly larger than the Xiaomi Mijia Air Pump 1S, but with a weight of 394g it is a good 100g lighter.

Display and operation

There is an OLED display on the front, which is operated via the five buttons on the bottom. Here you can switch between the modes, change the pressure via the plus and minus buttons, and turn on a small LED light. The light allows you to use the compressor at night or in poor light.

The display shows the real-time pressure during inflation and you can choose between PSI, BAR, KPA and kg/cm². In addition, you can see what type of tire it is and has a small battery indicator on the bottom. The air pressure can be set beforehand and is selectable between 3 and 150 PSI. As soon as this is reached, the device switches off automatically.

Use

The air pump can be used differently. You can use the electric pump to inflate tires of cars, bicycles or motorcycles, but also sports equipment such as footballs or inflatable air mattresses. In addition to the air compressor, you also get a USB-C charging cable, air hose and three different attachments for inflating the objects.

The electric air pump has two batteries with a size of 2000 mAh each. They are charged via the USB-C port on the bottom of the device. According to Banggood, the device can inflate up to 2.5 car tires, 6 road bike tires or 50 basketballs with a fully charged battery.

Assessment

The iMars Enusic is a solid air compressor with a compact size. One advantage is definitely the 4000 mAh battery, which allows the device to be used wirelessly. The air compressor can generate up to 150 PSI and can be used for tires, sports equipment or air mattresses. In the scope of delivery, you get everything you need for use and even get three pump attachments.

The range of functions is clear, there are various info displays, four modes and an automatic shutdown at the desired pressure, but what else do you want. It’s still “just” an air compressor. Finally, the price is still missing. At $36, it is not that bad, considering that the Xiaomi Mijia 1S is much more expensive at around 40€. The Mijia 1S also has a much smaller battery and no OLED screen, but it offers a similar feature set.
