Inateck USB Hub with 4 USB-A 3.2 Ports for $13.99/£13.99/10,10€
USB hubs exist in hundreds, if not thousands. But many rest on the old USB standard. Not so the Inateck USB hub with 4 ports, each supporting the latest USB 3.2 standard!

With 4 USB ports
Visually, the Inateck USB hub looks like almost any other. All in black, it probably fits into any office setup and thanks to dimensions of 10.2 x 3.3 x 1.4 cm, it’s also compact enough to carry around in your laptop bag. Compared to some other models, however, the special feature is the extra-long cable. With a length of 50 cm, the hub is almost more intended for stationary use in the home office than for on the go. The USB-A cable is integrated, but the length makes it flexible. If you need USB-C, the hub is also available with a USB-C port.
No HDMI, no SD slots and no Ethernet port. For such ports, you have to reach for the UGREEN 6-in-1 USB-C Hub, for example. The Inateck USB hub focuses on four USB-A ports, three on the side and one at the bottom on the short side. Already on the adapter itself there is the hint of 10 Gbps. This refers to the theoretical transfer speed that is possible thanks to the supported USB 3.2 Gen 2 standard. Older hubs usually still rely on the USB 3.0 protocol, which theoretically only allows up to 5 Gbps transfer speed. Of course, how fast your data is transferred depends on the storage medium used.
The hub also supports NVMe SSD and U-Disk if you want to connect an external SSD. Of course, all peripherals like mouse or keyboard work, but charging smartphones or other devices is not supported. The hub should be compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux via plug-and-play.
Assessment
If you place a lot of value on fast data transfer, you should switch to the current USB standard if you have not already done so. The Inateck USB hub is definitely a good choice, regardless of whether USB-A or USB-C is used. If speed is more of a semi-important issue for you, but you value 4K resolution at 60 Hz, for example, you can take a look at the UGREEN 6-in-1 hub. We have had good experiences with Inateck in the past, but you are on the safe side with Amazon as a seller anyway.
