IPEGA PG – 9069 Bluetooth Controller for $25.99
The Chinese manufacturer IPEGA is probably a well-known term for anyone who’s wanted to order a cheap Bluetooth controller from China. In the past, IPEGA mainly released controller designed for mobile gaming. This is still possible with this IPEGA PG – 9069 Bluetooth Controller but the gamepad bares a strong resemblance to a joypad for other platforms.
What looks like a mix of a Xbox One Pro Controller and the PlayStation DualShock 4 controller is actually the IPEGA PG – 9069, a Bluetooth gamepad with touchpad. To say that the design of the gamepad is based on the controller of Xbox would be an understatement: except of the IPEGA logo and the mentioned touch pad, both are hardly distinguishable from each other. Even the colour of the IPEGA PG – 9069 seems to be based on the Xbox One Pro Controller with its black base and silver elements.
But what might put off one or two Playstation fans is, however, actually not that bad of an idea. Completing the boldly nicked design with a touchpad could have turned out to be a clever idea, if you would not just only play but also navigate with the controller through the menus. On Android and Windows, the touch input is recognized as a cursor.
In terms of connectivity, the IPEGA PG – 9069 does not take any half measures, via Bluetooth the gamepad should be connected with almost all Android – based devices, iOS devices and PC (Win10). Obviously, a console support would have been even better but only a few controller offers it. If you connect the PG – 9069 via the included USB cable with your device, you could also access to two vibration motors. From my own personal experience, this function is rarely supported by the corresponding games. The cable also recharged, the 380mAh battery takes about 2 hours for it and after that it can be used for 12 hours playing.
In addition to the controller itself, there is also a USB cable and a mobile phone clip as well as a user manual included in the delivery. The IPEGA PG-9069 Bluetooth Controller is ideal for all Xbox fans who would like to use their beloved gamepad to go. For all the others, the gamepad could also be interesting, not least because of the touchpad.
