Oh coffee – the wonderful black energy drink that is the only liquid besides a 1l vodka bottle that manages to make a morning before work halfway bearable. If you can’t do without coffee on the bedside table, you can get the leaking coffee cup lamp.

A standard coffee cup is used as lampshade. If there are no cool ones, you can also use the three coffee cups included. A Starbucks cup (costs as much as the actual lamp) would have something! Of course you can also take a normal white cup and paint it yourself – provided you have some talent.
Eight power-saving LEDs are installed, which can be powered via USB (cable included) or from any location by three AAA batteries. I would then tend towards the battery variant, as the optical effect simply seems to be greater.
All in all this gadget is more of a little fun idea and maybe the perfect gift for that special coffee lover everybody seems to know.
