A night light to hang

The night light is available in the form of a a cat. The animals sit in a small nest and look out to you. You almost get the feeling that the animals are watching over you and similar to dream catchers protect you from bad dreams.

The hanging light is available in blue, white and pink. The colors differ only in the nests of the animals. The built-in lamp is in the animal itself, which makes the animal light up. The LED lamp is made of a silicone nest and has a plastic pane on the front, through which you can see the animal. It measures 106 x 125 x 75 mm and weighs 145 grams.

With a loop on the top, you have the option to hang the night light on coat hooks or the closet door. Similar to many other night lights, this one also has a rechargeable battery with the size of 1200 mAh. This allows it to be used without electricity. The hanging light is charged via a micro USB port on the bottom. A suitable charging cable is included in the scope of delivery. With a full battery, you can expect four to six hours of light.

There is a slider to the left of the charging port. This can be used to turn the nightlight on and off and activate a motion sensor. The motion sensor has a small hole on the front through which it detects people and movements. The detection radius is 120° and a maximum distance of three meters. Once a person is no longer in the radius for 25 seconds, the night light automatically turns off.

Assessment

The LED hanging night light is already really cuddly due to its colorful appearance. That’s why I see the night light especially for children who can not sleep well without light or sometimes have to go to the toilet at night. I find the loop nice, with which the light can be hung on coat hooks or closet doors.

The hanging light is available for around 14€. The price is justifiable in my opinion, even if you pay the extra price here possibly for the design and the loop. Who lacks the bright colors in this night light, can alternatively reach for the LED lamp completely in the cat design.
