Compressor and hand vacuum cleaner in one gadget for $71.88

Hey, guys! Just a heads up: The linked offer is already a bit older and the price of the gadget might have changed or it might not be available anymore.

Lydsto, the name did sound familiar. In fact, there are robotic vacuum cleaners from the brand, which we have already had here. The Lydsto R1 didn’t do too badly in our test. This “gadget” caught my eye for several reasons: First, the brand. Also, there is a very popular bike and car air pump from Xiaomi (and comparable are products always interesting). Lastly, the fact that there is once again a 2-in-1 gadget here, because it is both compressor and hand vacuum cleaner.

Somewhere yes obvious to combine vacuum cleaner and pump. Both is yes somehow blowing air in two different directions. Scientifically speaking. The question is rather, does the whole thing make sense. And that I see at least with the car already somehow. Sucking the seats and adjusting the tire pressure, otherwise you need two devices for that. So maybe we’re seeing the beginning of a revolution in the car accessory market.

The hand vacuum cleaner is quickly explained. We have a small battery vacuum cleaner with 10,000 pa suction power, which is sufficient for all needs in the car. There are two suction modes, with the “normal” one lasting 30 minutes, and the stronger one lasting up to 15 minutes on one battery charge. There is also a brush attachment.

The compressor can generate up to 150 PSI of pressure (10.3 bar). This allows it to “pump up” all standard car and bicycle tires. Car tires require between 2 and 2.5 bar, bicycle tires up to 5 bar depending on the model (rarely more). Balls can also be inflated through various enclosed valves. The device is charged via USB-C.

Overall, I don’t think the idea behind the gadget is entirely stupid. However, if you only need one of the two features, you have to ask yourself whether you want to pay the higher price for both. If you’re looking for a compressor for your car tires, you don’t necessarily need a vacuum. Cyclists don’t anyway, they’ll go for the Xiaomi model right away. And on the other hand, if you’re looking for a handheld vacuum cleaner for your car, you don’t necessarily think about measuring the tire pressure with the device in between. Anybody among you who was looking for exactly that?

After joining the team in late 2015 I quickly fell in love with aerial photography. Today I review most of our drones. I'm also interested in gaming related gadgets.
