We have already presented some cable holders here on the blog, including this comparable product. Here is the, in my eyes, much prettier magnetic cable holder from Anker in a stylish blue.

By default, we know the self-adhesive cable holders with small notches in which the cables must be pressed in. This may be more than sufficient for a permanent attachment, but for me personally, it is very annoying, because it does not hang permanently in it, and every time I have to reattach the cable there awkwardly. The idea is to keep the cable up and always within reach. With this magnetic cable holder that would be exactly the case.

However, it can of course also be used for permanent use if you simply want the extra flexibility. The holder itself measures 8.84 x 4.09 x 0.91 cm and is attached by a reusable adhesive strip. This is intended to hold onto surfaces such as wood, ceramic, metal, glass, and many more, and can be removed without leaving any residue.

Unfortunately, there is no exact information about the actual diameter of the cable guides, only that 3.5 mm cables are held in place, but in the comments it is reported that it is definitely suitable for normal charging cables, encased charging cables would have a little harder. Unfortunately, you have to test it yourself and make sure that there is not too much tension on the cable.

As you can see in the picture, there are 5 slots with magnetic attachments for the cables, but MagSafe cables, for example, also seem to hold on their own. Unfortunately, there is not a large color selection, but the blue is still quite stylish and inconspicuous, but this is of course a matter of taste. What do you think, are the self-adhesive and much cheaper cable holders enough, or would you go for the magnetic cable holders for more flexibility and comfort?
