The Neck Fan: Cool refreshment for for $14.58/12,43€
If you want to be prepared for the next heat wave, you can now get fans to hang around your neck. The version shown in the article is currently sold out at GeekBuying, but we found a slightly modified version at AliExpress for $14.58/12,43€.
In summertime temperatures, one would actually only want to go into the next air-conditioned room or into the air flow of a fan. On the way, this is of course difficult, but it is possible due to the fan for carrying around. But it can not only be used at the neck, but also offers a number of possibilities to attach it.

The rotor blades are located in a plastic housing, which is available in several colors. Among them pink, white or green. Of course, a colored box that hangs around your neck catches the eye, but I think this is a very simple design.
The fan can be used in different areas. One is the option to wear it around your neck with the help of the collar that you attach to the sides of the fan.
Then you can also attach it to your trousers with a clip and let it blow into your T-shirt. It is also possible to wear it on your hand with a bracelet, although I think that it is too bulky and restricts the freedom of movement.
If you arrive at a place where you are not moving anymore, you can also put it up and leave it on a table.
The speed levels 2000/2500/3000 RPM ( rotations per minute ) are available. Depending on which level you choose, the battery should last 10/5/2.5 hours. Here is then the question, how loud it is and how strong the airflow will be. Is it rather a lukewarm breeze or a refreshing breeze.
The 2000 mAh battery is charged via Micro-USB. For a complete charge it should take 3 hours. More a gimmick as a practical feature I would call the function of a powerbank. With the small battery the fan won’t charge a current smartphone, but with headphones or speakers it could be worth it.
I find these models much more suitable for everyday use than fans, for example, which you have to hold in your hand. Can you imagine walking around with them in summer or do you prefer to rely on conventional fans?
