Sandwich sponge for $3.09/￡2.23/2,90€: (not) a snack for in between!?

There is always a good reason to avoid washing the dishes. But when the dishes start to accumulate in the sink or start to mold, it’s time to wash them again. With the toast or sandwich sponge you then also get a small and funny helper at hand.

The admittedly somewhat unusual helper in the household is unfortunately not a snack for in between, but can clean dishes or work surfaces. When buying you can choose between three slices of bread or a sandwich as a sponge. One bread slice is 9.5 x 8.5 x 2 cm long and has almost the same dimensions as the entire sandwich. This is 3.5 cm thicker at 5.5 cm.

The sandwich consists of two slices of toast, two lettuce leaves and a slice of salami. A somewhat unusual combination. Where is the cheese? Where are the pickles? Where are the sauces? They obviously skimped on the ingredients there. The sandwich is firmly stuck together and can therefore not be taken apart. That could be quite practical, so that one can scrub the dishes better clean between both bread slices.

As a small afterparty gag, you can clean the dirt of last night with the sponge. Alternatively, you can give away the sponge because of its unusual appearance as a Secret Santa gift or for a birthday.

Assessment

The sponge in the form of a slice of bread or sandwich is not wrong for one or the other laugh. At a price of 2.90 € I see the household helper as a small party gag or small Secret Santa gift. Nevertheless, you should keep the ball flat, because it is ultimately only a funny appearance of the normal sponge, which you get in simple form for small money.
