The Anker Soundcore Q10 headphones
Anker would like to position itself in the market, especially due to the low prices, in comparison to brand manufacturers like Bose and Sony. Thus, the Anker Soundcore Q10 headphones are also available for just under $40.
The main feature here is the battery life, which is specified as up to 60 hours. This would be really good for over-ear headphones, although this is mainly possible due to the lack of ANC. The battery life is twice as long as in its big brother, the Soundcore Life Q20.
The battery can also be quickly recharged through the USB-C port; the complete charging time is two hours. However, within 5 minutes of charging, a runtime of 5 hours should be possible and that’s really something. Whether this value can be confirmed exactly, we would first have to try out in a test.

The integrated dynamic 40mm audio drivers are designed to deliver hi-res sound. Unfortunately there is no information about the Bluetooth codecs, they are only mentioned in the manual. In the end, the sound should only differ slightly, only the missing noise cancelling should explain the price difference.
In the headphones is again a microphone integrated and you can fold them easily. This model also wants to convince with a strong bass, whereas you can get even more out of the headphones with an equalizer app.
Evaluation
For a little more money you get the Soundcore Life Q20, the direct competition from the same company. It still delivers a comparatively good ANC, but the battery life doesn’t come close to this model. Otherwise, you can also get the OneOdio Fusion A70 headphones at a similar price, but these are mainly aimed at musicians.
Since the headphones come with a direct 18 month warranty, you don’t take a big risk. Anker’s customer service is normally very reliable. The model is not really new anymore – would you like to have a test anyway?
