Unobtrusive design

The vertical notebook holder is available in two versions. Either in the smaller, slimmed-down version only as a stand for tablets and laptops or additionally with a cell phone or tablet tray. Both versions are available in black or white. The stand is mainly made of plastic, and the holders are rubberized with gray silicone. This not only provides a visual contrast, but also stabilizes your devices. Two long rubber strips are found on the underside and ensure a firm grip on tables.

The size of the stand is 12 x 16 x 8 cm, whereby it can be pushed up to 5.5 cm in height. The width of the stand can be adjusted between 1.2 and 6 cm using the two levers on the bottom. The advantage is that several laptops or tablets could then also find their place.

The tray for tablets or cell phones can be tilted at an angle of up to 60 degrees. This has the advantage that you can watch YouTube videos, Netflix or other media content while eating or on sunny days in the garden without having to hold it in your hand. Alternatively, it is also suitable for faster multitasking at the workplace by intriguing other devices.

The table looks tidy and neat thanks to the vertical storage option. Everything is in one place and quickly at hand. However, I find it a pity that the width of the base plate cannot be adjusted, which unfortunately means that you have much less space on the table.

Assessment

In my opinion, it’s worth upgrading to the improved version of the laptop holder, because it also has a storage area for cell phones or tablets and is also height-adjustable. Just the possibility to watch a movie or a video, even if you have no hand free, because you are, for example, eating, could be worth a purchase for many. The price of $28 in the standard version or $32 including the holder for cell phone or tablet is average compared to similar products on Amazon. The vertical notebook holder is meant for neat and tidy tables, but you should keep in mind that the size of the base plate cannot be varied by the stand and thus takes up some space.
