Xiaomi Mi Projector Vogue Edition in Crowdfunding
Since the great interest in the Mi Laser Projector short-distance beamers, Xiaomi has been trying more and more to develop smaller, more compact home cinema solutions. Now Xiaomi finances the Mi Projector Vogue Edition in crowdfunding.
Technical data of the Mi Projector Vogue Edition
At the current time of development not all data around the Vogue Edition are known yet, Xiaomi of course wants to create a little tension. What is known so far is listed here in tabular form:
|Model||Mi Projector Vogue Edition|
|Resolution||Full HD (1080p)|
|Image formats||16:9, 4:3|
|max. screen diagonal||up to 120″ (~3 m)|
|Brightness||1500 ANSI Lumen|
Unfortunately there are no details like dimensions, weight and contrast, which would tell you a bit more about whether the projector would also be suitable for travelling. As soon as we know more, we will inform you as usual.
Small, compact, good picture?
Xiaomi partner Fengmi is responsible for the production of the mini beamer. Fengmi is already an established player in the beamer sector in China. In crowdfunding, a financing of 3699 yuan, the equivalent of $525.25, makes a difference. Unfortunately, only Chinese can finance here again, in this country one has to wait for the shop prices, which according to experience should then be about $100 more.
Inside the projector works a T972 chip with a frequency of 1.9 GHz. The power consumption should be 55 % lower compared to other models, also the 8K video decoding is supported. This can be doubted with a mini beamer of this size, there is hardly a technical specification where cheating is more frequent. It is perhaps comforting that there are hardly any 8K recordings at all that can be played back. Until there are more of them, you might be thinking about a new device again.
Brightness levels of up to 1500 ANSI lumens can be achieved, Fengmi’s in-house image optimization system “Feng AdvancedVideo” supports the factors brightness, color scale, sharpness, HDR and HDMI output quality. Of course, the image of the small beamer is promoted as particularly good, which is probably what every manufacturer does. But: With Xiaomi we had to deal almost exclusively with optically appealing resolutions, so we can expect a lot here.
The voice control is also interesting. The small projector will probably be controlled via Xiaomi AI Speaker, whether this will also be possible via Alexa or Google is still in the stars. What is your impression of the Xiaomi mini beamer?
